Arden Hills stays small, leafy, and quiet for a reason — the tree canopy, the hilly terrain, the Bethel campus on the east side, and residential streets that keep to themselves. Most of the housing is 1950s-through-70s ranchers and split-levels, which means a lot of the homes we work on are on their second or third roof and due for a siding refresh at the same time.
Gutter work is probably the most common call-out here because of the tree canopy. We install leaf guards on a lot of Arden Hills homes, and re-run gutters where the original pitch has settled over the decades. Roofing-wise, most replacements are straightforward tear-offs to 30- or 50-year architectural shingles. Where we slow down is when the attic ventilation is wrong — which it often is on homes of this era — because fixing ventilation correctly is a lot cheaper than replacing a roof early.
